Spring RE-awakening! April Showers Begone! - May Fabric Trends
Hello, May! Spring always awakens my desire for adventure and renewal during this time of self-isolation, a feeling of restlessness that only exacerbates my urge to break out of quarantine, and travel! As a result, I put together mood boards for a mini collection using three points of inspiration: beach vacations, April Showers, and summer fashion!
The month of April brings promises of beauty to come just like itβs namesake, Goddess of Love, Aphrodite. Much like how nature reawakens during this time, I feel as if Iβm reawakening from a Winter hibernation, just as the buds on the trees are beginning to flower. This feeling inspired me to put together mood boards for this mini collection.
Imagining the picturesque Italian Riviera and Amalfi Coast, the vibrant, cheerful palette of the April Showers collection brightens up what may even seem like the gloomiest of spaces. Colorful umbrellas that dot the shores of beach clubs inspired stripes and plaids like waterside gems. Our charming print motifs are inspired by images of glamorous basking babes in retro swim caps, revolutionizing summer fashion.
