For the 10th annual DC Design House, benefiting the Children’s National Health System, designer Karen Mitrano Snyder partnered with Beacon Hill to create this “Travelers’ Retreat.” Inspired by our Maurice fabric (drapery shown above) in black and white—a heavy linen print with intricate embroidery overlay—Snyder took a high-contrast palette and rendered it soft and inviting through layers of boucle and cashmere. The final touch? Pops of Lady Elsie in Clay to brighten and further warm up this global-minded space.
