Robert Frank’s family room blends Cape Cod tradition with California ease
For the 53rd edition of the Pasadena Showcase House of Design, we partnered with designer Robert Frank to create a family living space within the 100-year-old English Tudor estate which has served as a set for Beaches, Mad Men and last year’s hit, La La Land. “I utilized Beacon Hill fabrics to make the space unique and beautiful yet functional and comfortable,” Frank says. Airy textures like Rush Reed linen in white and flax blend with vibrant patterns like Samarkand and Water Diamond (both in Indigo) for a true marriage of California and Cape Cod styles.
